Petal & Grain

CENTRAL PARK. DENVER, CO

For this project, the goal was to create a home that feels collected, comfortable, and easy to settle into—nothing overly precious, just thoughtful design that supports how the family actually lives day to day. We focused on layering soft textures, subtle pattern, and warm materials so each space feels connected, but still has its own personality.

In the dining area, the wallpaper really sets the tone. We wanted something classic, but not too formal—so we landed on a soft, patterned paper that adds just enough movement without overwhelming the space. Paired with the sculptural glass chandelier, the whole space becomes a bit more conversational—there’s a softness to the light that makes it feel inviting whether it’s a quick breakfast or a long dinner with friends.

The living room was all about comfort. That oversized sectional was a key move—it anchors the space and instantly makes it feel like somewhere you can actually relax. We layered in a mix of textiles and pillows to keep it from feeling flat, but nothing too styled or rigid. It’s meant to be lived in, to hold movie nights, naps, and everything in between.

In the primary bedroom, we leaned fully into a calm, comforting feel. The palette stays soft and neutral, but the wallpaper adds just enough detail to keep it from feeling plain. The upholstered bed, layered bedding, and warm wood tones all work together to create a space that feels quiet and homey.
