Meet Molly Coyne

Lead Interior Designer & Owner of MC Design Interiors 

Molly didn’t take the conventional path to interior design. Breaking the traditional mold is exactly what makes her approach so impactful. 

She grew up on construction sites and worked for her contractor father throughout college. She went to school for education, but found herself pulled to the construction industry and never left. For 20 years, she worked in architecture, planning, and commercial construction. 

When she had her first child, she and her family relocated from California to Colorado. As a stay-at-home mom, Molly couldn’t stop thinking about interior design. She combined her breadth of industry knowledge with an understanding of both how homes are built and how they feel on the inside.

Ten years later, MC Design Interiors is a thriving business built entirely on word of mouth and passion for the work.

Meet Christy Walenczak

Interior Designer & Technical Drafter 

To know Christy is to know where creativity meets immense organization and technical precision. Christy keeps our team running smoothly with consistent, structured processes and pristine space planning, floor plans, and function. 

Christy has a Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design from Colorado State University and is skilled at creating environments that work seamlessly with how your family actually lives. 

Six years ago, Molly and Christy met on the playground. Their children were in the same preschool, and as they got to know each other, they knew they had a synergy in philosophy and design style. With her detailed approach, Christy is the perfect complement to Molly’s style and expertise. Christy handles MC Design Interiors’ drafting, procurement, and financials.
