New Build No More

Castle Pines, CO

For this Denver home new build without personality, our vision was to push beyond the expected—embracing bold design decisions, rich color, and highly functional spaces that support the way our clients truly live. The result is a home that feels expressive, layered, and unapologetically personal.

From the beginning, we leaned into moody, saturated paint colors to create depth and contrast throughout the home. In the entry, deep olive built-ins transform a typically utilitarian mudroom into a striking, functional moment—blending storage, texture, and warmth in a way that immediately sets the tone. This use of color continues into the office, where a rich, dramatic palette paired with steel-framed glass doors creates a space that feels both grounded and inspiring. Designed to be fully usable day-to-day, the office balances privacy and openness while maintaining a strong visual presence within the home.

We also carved out space for play and creativity, designing a modern, light-filled playroom that feels just as considered as the rest of the home. Soft forms, sculptural furniture, and a playful mix of color and pattern create an environment that is both fun and elevated—proving that family-friendly design can still feel refined.

In the bathrooms, we introduced bold material contrasts and layered finishes to elevate each space. Deep, inky tile paired with warm brass fixtures creates a dramatic yet timeless backdrop, while patterned wallpaper moments add softness and personality in more intimate areas like the powder bath. Throughout, we focused on balancing statement-making elements with classic materials to ensure longevity.

Across every room, this project is defined by confident choices—whether through color, material, or form. Each space was designed to stand on its own while contributing to a cohesive, dynamic whole.
